Pants and Pillows

As the boxes are broken down, newspaper and other wrapping is piled up for recycling, and our things are put into new places, I've not been able to stay away from projects. Two that were recently completed: some pinstripe pants and throw pillows.
At this point in time, the pants are cozy in the waist. It's hard to tell here because they are also wide legged. Since I only have about five more weeks to go, and after that, the belly and hips will be waning, I went for a snug fit. Now I'll be able to wear them post pregnancy and that makes me happy because I really like my new pants. And the pillows. The fabric was once a bright red linen that my mom gave to me. Then, I made curtains from it. They covered our bedroom windows for about eight months, all the while, soaking in the sun. Well, you can see what happened. It's lovely.
