Booties for the baby.
I can't recall the names of the yarns that were used for the red-orange pair, but I do know that the pom-poms are wool and the bootie is cotton. The striped pair that I'm currently working on is a combination of Rowan denim yarn (very dark rinse) and Frog Tree alpaca (very soft and wonderful to work with). I did not use a pattern for either pair-- that is to say that I improvised.
