Having Returned

I'm admiring the color of this geranium against this delicate blue sky.

Very happy to have located a good spot for the compost pile, which received its first deposit today.

Making Potato and Fennel Soup for dinner (Mom, you should really come over and get some of this good stuff).

I've finished this project-- a celebration of Spring. They are gold finches.

Trying to find something relatively nice/comfortable/not too small to wear to the baby shower tomorrow (you've seen these articles of clothing before on this blog). The belt is to accentuate this belly of mine that has been growing a lot (we're now at 37 wks.)-- I'm a small person so it may not look like much to some of you, but my back is sure feeling this change in size-- I can finally put my arms around it and imagine holding this new little life. So exciting! We will truly miss all of you who will not be able to come-- you will most definitely be in our hearts.

P.S. Benb's 29th birthday was wonderful... just what was needed.
