To have a freshly organized work area! I had started to do this about a week ago, but the original plan just wasn't working for me. This is much better. It will be a lot easier to keep clean, and if a great big mess does occur, I can simply shut the closet doors.
I even have some wall space where I can hang something nice.
And here, you can see that I've placed my little ironing board on a roll-y cart that I can roll right over to me if I need to quickly press something while at the sewing machine. It has baskets underneath where I can store works in progress (for easy access). I'm not much of a stash person (mostly because I don't have a lot of money to spend on supplies). I tend to buy something with a purpose in mind, and then whatever is leftover-- well, it's just leftover and I can use it for something else.
Something that I found while going through some older sketchbooks. When I was little, I used to fill entire notebooks with "fashion designs". They were usually quite trashy, and/or inspired by the likes of Cyndi Lauper, The Bangles, and Spike of Degrassi Junior High. Well, these designs are a bit more recent (I'm only slightly embarrassed)...I just can't seem to shake this thing that I have for miniature wardrobe fantasies.
